Description

This handcrafted artisan cheese uses a month long aging process to create a unique and delightful flavor that continues to mature for a smoother texture. It’s rolled in za’atar (a Lebanese thyme spice blend). Shanklish can be crumbled in a dish, drizzled with olive oil and pinched with bite sized pieces of pita bread, and is popular diced in a salad of fine chopped tomatoes, cucumbers and parsley.
